City Navigator Australia and New Zealand NT 2011.20

    Continuing on from dextel

    Mapsource Version UNLOCKED

    IMG UNLOCKED

    3D Buildings UNLOCKED

    JVC (Junction View)

    Password is: n a v i t o t a l (without spaces)

The Mapsource UNLOCKED is the "gmap" folder
which needs to go into the following to work with mapsource
also you MUST HAVE HIDDEN FOLDERS ENABLED

    Windows XP:
Copy "City Navigator Australia And New Zealand NT 2011.20.gmap" folder into
    \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps\*.*

    Vista and windows 7:
Copy "City Navigator Australia And New Zealand NT 2011.20.gmap" folder into
    \PROGRAMDATA\GARMIN\Maps\ *.*

I like to point out more so for the newbies also
that you don't acually have to put the
City Navigator Australia And New Zealand NT 2011.20.gmap folder in either
windows XP or Vista/Win7 as follows:

You can however copy the Gmap folder anywhere onto the your hard drive you wish
like into the GARMIN folder or Mapsource folder or programfiles\garmin etc
all you need to to is run "mapreverse" and it will install the map to your registry
    to work with mapsource etc

    Mapreverse can be found
    simple to use

If you get or have a locked GMAP you can use GMAP UNLOCKER to unlock the maps rather than using keygens etc
so if you want to unlock a previous Gmap folder you have then just copy these files in the folder and run the batch file
    GMAP unlocker can be found

If you have a locked IMG map or IMG files you wish to unlock
this is the quickest and easiest way for the newbies
just copy the files into the folder that has your img file and run the batch file
The IMG Unlock can be found

Always remember to backup before Making changes you can't undo

Junction view and 3d buildings only works on garmin GPS units that support it
if your unit supports Junction view and 3d buildings then in the Garmin root drive their will be a folder called JVC that is where the junction view file goes
and the root drive is where the 3dmap.img file goes just like the other *.IMG files are

    Password is: n a v i t o t a l (without spaces)

its one word and you have to remove the spaces between the letters

also you have to use winrar or similar for it to work

Yes, I did follow everything carefully. I downloaded the file again and no problems in extracting it. Thanks. The orginal file must be corrupted but I can't remeber which server it was from. Now to experiment with instructions from another thread here. Newbie here trying to ultimately install onto a SD card.
