Default Can you repair a gamma atr?

    Hey all....

I think i have done my dough this time.....

I bought a Gamma Card from ebay for just under $150 which was Cheap!
Its was supposed to be NEW and have a valid ATR!

Anyways, Its NOT NEW and dosent have a valid ATR!

Ive done some reading and im alittle confused..... can the ATR be repaird with some programmers like the CAS3 Plus?

And also which programmer is the better one Mastera 5 or the Cas 3 Plus?

ATM im using the good old Do-All.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

It was advertised as a new Gamma.

It has the see through chip.

    And very well used!.

I'll have to follow up through ebays disputes. Not that it'll get me cash back.

I have found these gamma cards to be very irritating when using programmers.
When using FM Card or Card Explorer comes up with no ATR, I exit program, disconnect, reconnet then it may work & show ATR and details.
Never have this problem with Gold or Silver.
Even when I was using with Gam Loader, on every 2nd hit (to program twice)it would come up with no ATR or "this is not a gamma card", but disconnecting and doing again worked for me.

So maybe the card does work,
although I do have one that the programmer thinks there is no CPU on the plastic. Definitely NO ATR (and yes it is facing the right way up) but that is one that I completely destroyed with my experiments.

    Default Well I'll be FooKed!

I decided to try the G again before using it to spread some vegimite on my toast and i'll be stumped to find it WORKED!

Well it now has an ATR!

Much to my amusement it HAS DETAILS ALSO!

When inserted into the Supernet, an E16 Error comes up which is

E16 Service is currently scrambled .. Access to the service is denied

Does anyone have 2 G's with different details on each???

that means that card you bought is already programmed, you need to clean it and load what ever file you have

Are you suggesting that there are persons (other than sellers) that have a file that works!
Sorry, but I cant see the point in loading a gam file to a card,
once its done and you've had your 5mins. of fun, what next?

Start cooking the the toast and get the vegemite jar out and spread with your white utensil.
ATR or No ATR, makes no difference without a valid file its an expensive item which does nothing.
