You probably have done it already but got to ask. Have you set the correct info in your sat box, lnb to 5100 and an active frequency.

Yeah, could be. True north and magnetic north are not the same, for example, in Sydney they presently differ by 13 degrees (if I recall correctly). Also, compasses are affected by any nearby magnetic materials, such as any steel parts in your dish or mounting hardware.

Just ignore that twaddle about the co-ax, he's probably never heard of wavelength and velocity factor of various transmission lines. Rather off topic, so I wont pursue it.

Those channels are on the 4000 H / 28125 SR, and according to the footprint, should not have any problems in Melbourne.
However you need Azimuth, Elevation and slowly sweep back and forth 'til you find the Satellite.

Input your location and Satellite here but be aware of True and Magnetic North.

    I would say so.
Methinks you need to go to ' Installation menu '.
    Select
    Satellite,
LNB Frequency, ( Must be the same as on the LNB itself. )
    Transponder,
    Symbol Rate,
    And then do your search.

It would help tremendously if you can post a pix of that.

Wink C band and Ku band LNBs are totally different animals.

Mayhap he's swallowed his LNB. I prescribe 5100 lashes.

What Bitola is saying is that when you need to align a c-band dish, you cannot have the satfinder closer than a certain amount of cable between it and the dish. Whenever I setup a c-band dish, I have a 20m length of cable between the lnb and the satfinder to be able to align it. If I use a short length (say 1m like when I align a ku band dish), I run into problems.
