Palapa D has there pay tv free to air every sat and sunday.plus there are a lot of free to air channels on this satellite as well. AsiaSat 3S also plenty of fta stuff
You have to be multilingual to enjoy most of it....there is some okay fta on cband - Eurosport is one of a handful of sport channels. They probably have what most would describe as second tier sports but I usually find something half interesting to have on the tv out in the backyard bar.
C band Sport FTA = rugby, nrl, afl, F1, soccer, golf, tennis etc etc etc ..
It is a hobby so mileage varies
Loving IPTV with XBMC and android M8

There are 2 problems getting a Smart Card to view those channels, one is getting a card that is pirated and the other is many overseas companies wont or cant allow their programs to be viewed in Australia.
Obviously with the pirated card you run the risk of being ripped off by the seller or the card being disabled by the Broadcaster and there is also the risk of you being fined or (unlikely) being imprisoned for having the card.
Its unfortunate but for either legal or commercial reasons, the Broadcaster wont allow the use of their cards in Australia but sometimes lateral thinking has found ways around that.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
Can anyone tell me where I can get a smartcard to watch CNN from Intelsat 19 C-band. DVBS-Powerview.
Cheers.
tvoceania do them although new cnn box is shit doesnt even have hdmi on it
and they may be commercial only
Hope he sorted it before now... that post was 18 months ago!
