I got a link to an article this morning stating that MS has delayed the release of SP3 while they sort out a f*ck up with some of the files in relation to some business program that you can run under XP.

If you look you will find the rtm sp3 WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU and zwtxpsp3 full vlk.

Don't waste your time with rc2.

I personally like the full verison, or slipstreamed, as it takes up less space on hdd, more free space and quicker to backup.

Maybe boot up from a sp3 rtm and try a re-installation repair.
