    Default IGO 8.3 for Windows CE 6 ??. Please help

    Hi there.

    I've been struggling for days now trying to find a working version for my 1DIN DVD/GPS units, they are now running Windows CE 6.0 instead of 5.0.

    My previous version of IGO8.3 is for Win Ce 5.0, and it does NOT work on this new version of Windows CE.

    Please help me out!!. Im really desperate!! )

    Hi Bazzle, thanks for replying.

    Im getting a "error" that is usualy caused in my experiance by setting wrong resolution.
    What happens is that when I try to start IGO the bootscreen comes, and it just boots me back to the menu again, this happens everytime until it asks to reset poi's and all that. I have tried all I can think of.

    I've also deleted the "save" folder, as this version has been used on other units aswell.

    So all I get is the bootscreen and I get back to where I started. I know for certain that the resolution is good. I used the same version on this units earlier aswell, but after they upgraded from Win CE 5.0 to 6.0 I can't seem to get it working.

    Another user told me the solution ).

    and here is it;
    On WinCE 6.0 the older IGO 8.3 versions does not work (like on Wayteq PNA).
    Try newer IGO 8.3.4 version with worldwide licens file, will work!

    Worked like a charm . Thanks for your help Bazzle

    Ensure data.zip contains your resolution in igo8.ui

    Also sys.txt may need to be changed, to inc something like this:?

    [interface]
    vga=0
    skin="ui_igo8"
    resolution_dir="800_480"

    [rawdisplay]
    class="landscape"
    highres=0
    screen_x=800
    screen_y=480
