    Default Vu+Duo

    I have loaded Pli image on the Vu+duo and formated the USB stick to linux format loaded picons on it and installed meoboot.
    Problem is on boot up it gets stuck trying to read the USB stick anyone else have this problem??

    I thought I read somewhere the later images weren't to be used with dual boot?

    I had this same problem with a couple of data sticks that I had where at some point in the past I had re formatted the stick.
    I went down to the local servo, bought a brand new 'el-cheapo' stick, put the data on that and it all worked perfectly.
    Worth a try!!

    i thought that fat32 was the correct format or can it take others?

    fat32 is used to load images via USB linux format is used by meoboot but as it dont seem to want to work i deleted meoboot.
    Will buy a HDD tomorrow and then I can use that to store my picons and epg data

    sorry , i wasnt clear enough , what i meant was - is the mounting of a pc based hdd possible so you can setup a file or folder to store picons on it instead of a usb stick , i also have my pc hdd mounted , these boxes are quite easy to set up a mount with the help of network browser , vix 1.1 image

    Gotta say very good box only thing I dont like about it is you cant overclock the cards in the internal slots

    Serving now ecm times are about 50 msecs higher then a dm800

    I haven't put a hd in mine yet but found it has plenty of onboard memory to house everything.
    I went berserk the other night and downloaded shitloads of apps including picons for our sats.
