Hi, Folks. How are you? I don't see much activity since last October, at least in this group.

I was surfing around looking for information to work on a DIY project to use RADAR or a LASER with reflector mirror to slow traffic down on my street by giving drivers a bit of a notice that I either a.) just notice they are on the street, or b.) More sophisticated system that actually shows their speed.

When I first hit this site, I thought it had to do with Austin, Texas, where I live, but, after a great deal of searching, I think I found some information about this being part of an Australian Communications / Cable / Satellite TV company, right?

I'll never understand why companies don't just simply put up an "About" on their web pages of who they are, what they do and what the forum is all about. That's pretty simple, right? But, here, like many sites, I had to dig around and read between the lines to find some reference to what and where you are. Unless you're trying to hide your identity, then why not have that info in an "About" or "FAQ", or "Contact" link? I don't think I found that here.

Anyway, I'm here now and glad I joined. At least I hope I am - If there are still some people around.

The above is what I'm working on. It might not have anything to do with any of your hobbies, but if it does, I would appreciate any suggestions.

    Sincerely,
    Thomas

You must be related to "Chanceforlove"

You need to post this in the General Chat area and maybe someone there can decipher it...

    Cheers
