    Default CCcam:no login ack

I have a dreambox 518s running PLi image and CCcam 2.1.1
I am one of four clients talking to a dreambox server referencing a blue card.
The other three clients are successfully connected and receiving pictures. We all have the same CCcam.cfg file except for the username and password i.e.
    N: server 12000 username password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
I can successfully ping the server. I have tried three different versions of CCcam all without success. When I telnet my dreambox and run CCcam -d, I notice these three lines:
"CCcam: server started on port 12000"
"CCcam: newcamd server xxxxxx.dyndns.org:12000 user: xxxxx"
"CCcam: newcamd receive error: no login ack"
I have searched many forums and read volumes on the subjects of dreamboxes and CCcam, all to no avail.
Does anyone have any clues why I get the "no login ack" message?

Check upper/lower case of the login at the client & server (which I assume is either newcs or oscam?).
(You might also want to 'borrow' the N: line from a working client just for a quick test on yours)

(Moved post from 'dreambox' to 'emulators')

Oscam has been a recent addition to the server due to lost channels. When I "borrow" another clients username, everything works OK. I am only guessing but suspect that since I am the first client to be added since the introduction of Oscam to the server there is a command line in Oscam that needs to be added to allow me access. I know there is a lot of information on the dreambox section of Austech about "Oscam and lost channels" so I will have to start reading it to see if I can understand what the problem could be.

    Success at last.
Even though the oscam.user file had been updated to include me and the server CCcam config file had added me as a new friend, it would appear that the dreambox server needed to be rebooted for these changes to take effect.
