DS won't play genuine game

Hi all,

My daughter had a friend over last night and they both played on their DS's. Thing is this morning her TTDS card works well but a genuine game card is not detected in the game slot, any ideas ?

I checked all settings but it looks good.

might be a connection problem

maybe worn card slot or worn card edge connectors

i've had cloned R4s with fat pcbs that push the card slot connectors out of wack and fail to read any card with normal sized pcbs...

Actually the DS is only about 4 months old with minmal use, the TTDS is old probably 3 years and the genuine DS game is only six months old. Don't think thats it, but thanks anyway.

Metal teeth on Slot1 are bent to far out, try bend them back in slightly, or just replace slot 1.

This happens due to the DSTT

Thanks Urban but as it happened I ried another 5 times with different genuine games and finally it started working. Will keep an eye on it and see what happens but your tip will be useful
