DREAMAX DT-470 and D1

hi every one i am new to this forum and need advice . firstly can my dreamax dt-470 pick up the new D1 satellite free channels ? if so can someone tell me how to go about it , like frequencies etc. go easy on me i am new. cheers

Yes it can on all but Imparja where there is a little trick to performed on the dreamax to get it to see the hidden pids.

Go to for the TP frequencies

Use the Search feature on this site and you will find the "trick" for Imparja, it has been reposted since the crash

Be aware that WIN and GWN are not FTA on D1, and 7C is currently just showing colour bars

thanks for the reply . i have tried doing the settings but like i said i am new . i tried setting every thing like 12.643 for tp set it at vertical , but do not know the mili seconds thing . when i wanted it to do an auto scan it came up with nothing . it also showed searching 1 of 1 ? how about a step by step instructions with some figures , also if you can the impaja secret . cheers

Not much to search on the forum at the moment since the Great Forum Crash of '07.

Now I got the 'figures/values' below from the Lyngsat site link that Jason posted above. All the info is there. Try and scan in ABC Vic.

need more help . i have done what you guys have said but when i scan the sat it only scans 1/1 . when i scan the other sats like C1 it scans some like 23/23 . i dont under stand.

So what you're saying is your dish is pointed at C1 and not D1?

no i move it after i scan C1 just to see every things is still working but when i get to D1 set it up and get it to scan it only tries to scan 1/1. but when i am on C1 sat it will scan some 70 plus channels a lot i cant view since optarse changed there system again

dont do an auto or NIT scan but do a manual scan of every tp u want (and make sure they are listed on the aussie beam) one by one

still having issues . i have been on the lynksat sight and trying out the tp etc . the only one it will scan is the tp 12519 vertical sym rate 22500 which is for nz. any answers to that ? help
