    Default NX Unlocker

This was one of the results I got form an unrelated search...

    Anyone heard of this before?

I'd be interested to hear if any domestic installers have had success with this?

Built a nx unlocker years ago, I can get into any locked up nx without defaulting it.

    Sorry champ,
I can't send you the crack, but If you want to learn more about the art of cracking, download some tools and I'll give you some pointers.

What a load of wank, ive been able to access Nx panels for years without the program code at no cost.

Hint - read the system requirements on that page.

    Exactly!

For everyone trying to do a little research on this – Have a look at the documentation for the ‘home automation module’. That should get you started.

    Disagree with the pointless comment.
Say theres an out of town panel take over and you want to be 100% sure all programming is exactly how it was before, delays, siren times, users, quick exit, auto arm, ac fail time just to name a few.

Especially users if no one has an up to date list.

Why would you want to keep a random list of codes in a panel if no one knows who they are for?

I think it is useful to be able to get into any panel - doesn't matter how simple it is to default and reprogram it.

You may not use this very often - probably quicker to default and reprogram an NX4/8 than waiting for laptop to start up etc, but what if you come across an NX16/R128 with a heap of wireless etc.

Never had the problem and don't expect I ever will. There's always the option to download from offsite for tweaking if required.

Sorry, but this product is nothing more than a grab for cash targetted at those that don't really understand the panel.

    I agree!
Everyone has made the mistake of defaulting and missing that one peice of info or something. Dialling in is one way of fixing it but if you can get away with it in the first place?!?! Take overs would be a blast!
