    Default Digital TV Jammer

Does anyone have a schematic for a "Aust. Digital TV signal" jammer. Not the remote control jammer!

I am very curious to know why anyone would want such a devise and for what purpose?

I dont think the ACMA would be too impressed with the use of such a device based on the difficulties I have read about regarding the jamming of Mobile Phones inside Prison precincts.

I could just imagine the trouble you would be in when they caught up with you if you used such a device. Not recommended.

I know of several devices that kill DVB-T signals.

My job is to eliminate reception issues, not create them.

What specifically do you intend to use such a device for?

There is one word of warning about what happens when an irate neighbor finds out your jamming their TV signal.
Most tend to punch your lights out first without a second thought as they 'view' (pun intended) their TV as sacrosanct.
Run off with the Misses, kick the family dog, make snide remarks about their favourite footy team BUT dont stuff up the Tele.

And as MTV knows only too well, some devises achieve this even though they are not intended to do so and finding and finding and removing the interference is what keeps MTV's hair that nice shade of Grey..............................

Let's wait & see what Richard's reply is.

Perhaps the description was misleading and his intentions aren't as sinister as it may appear... well, I hope that's the case.

I'd like to use one of these on the beaurocrats that decide I can't have VAST yet....give them a taste of their own medicine.

    There's an easy fix Richard.

Just take the remote off the kids if you are sick of watching Wipeout repeats

    No need to build anything.
Years ago I had a portable radio that covered AM, FM and the TV audio from ch 0 to ch 12.
I used it one day to demonstrate to a neighbour what their TV/MHA was doing when turned on.
I had used the portable to find the 'Noise' by walking around the area untill it became obvious where it was coming from.
Standing about 6 feet from their TV, I just Tuned the dial untill I found the 'Beat' frequency and Herring Boned out their picture.
We amicably came to the arrangement that they would leave the power off to the TV/MHA untill they wanted to watch TV.
They were living in a caravan at a relatives home and intended to move which they did a few weeks later.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

In the old days of CB radio you just turned up the linear amplifier when you were transmitting and the neighbours had so much interference to their tv that they couldn't watch anything.
Needless to say you were public enemy no 1.

It appears the OP (Richard Thomas) isn't in much hurry for this, or has decided to ignore questions about his intentions for the device.
