    Default Checking EMM's & ECM's

    Hello All

    Is there a way to check the EMM's and ECM's on Newcs and Evocamd like the web interface that CCcam uses?

    Regards
    Marney

    Depending on the version of newCS yes .. See the config file of the newCS you are running to see if you have it or if you have not changed the default config telnet to the box running newCS on port 1001 i.e;

    telnet 192.168.1.2 1001

    enter the command; auth NewCSpwd

    then enter the command; help

    Cheers

    Newcs 1.5 also has a very nice web interface - shows emm and ecms
    also reset readers add users and other stuff
    like JONC said - check which version - read the newcs.xml config
    look for this stuff -shows port 3001 as web server yours may vary
    <httpd>
    <server>
    <port>3001</port>
    <enabled>yes</enabled>
    </server>
    <user>
    <name>newcs</name>
    <password>newcs</password>
    <accesslevel>admin</accesslevel>
    </user>
    </httpd>

    I might be wrong, but I think the web interface in newcs 1.50 only works if running on a linux box and not windows.
