Medal of Honour - issues

Hi all,

I just want to post this in case others have encountered it. If your using a particular version of this game which has been downloaded, once installed it may give you a Microsoft error which is Blah, blah, blah "= 0x7a0385".

On googling this error it appears that its a common problem with people running XP and ATI cards. If you get it and you have a Nvidia card download this update

There does not appear to be a fix for it other than the one mentioned above. It can also affect Win 7 and Vista users.

If someone finds a fix please post.

I was asked to install MOH a couple months back and found that the 3D card (ATI) couldn't handle the requirements of the game. I also think that if you upgrade the 3D card to one that it requires and unless the PC can handle it - you will be disappointed with the game

I'm running a HIS 5750 with lastest drivers, according to the ATI website it should handle the game easily.

The more I read about this fault the stranger it gets there are conflicting reports about what is actually causing the issue. I have a good friend running an 8800Gt card and it works well. There are lots of people unhappy with the authentic version because it needs patches, so I can't complain about a bodgie version not playing.... its just it seems really weird

I just hope COD Black ops isn't the same.

Okay for the record, I swapped out my ATI 5750 for a very kindly donated EN8600GT (oldie but a goodie) and hey presto instant game play. So I have to agree with some of the info regarding this game, it doesn't like ATI cards and loves nvidia. Game plays very well too.

Huge Thanks to Seymour Butts for donating the 8600GT at least I get to play my game now

Graphics in the game are fantastic.....the skill level is a little too easy for liking but my biggest gripe, the game is way way too short, that was dissappointing.

As others have stated above if you haven't got an nvidia card you won't have luck running the game.

i ran moh with a hd5570 without any hassles. i must point out that unless you have the nvidia phycx's drivers installed the game will not work

this game has been fairly ok
waaay too railroaded for my liking and today i also came across a huge shitty glitch
during the mission where you start off in the snow with only a knife, part way through it i died and the last checkpoint was just as you have to go prone under something and then hide under 2 bridges while a patrol walks over them.
no matter how many times i load the savepoint the other dickhead i am with either runs up some rocks or runs round a corner and just stands there, no way forward and no way back.
it brings the game to a standstill. seems the only choice is to restart the mission.
