Is there anyway i can change my HSN on my whitey or on a bin to have it match my original paid sub so i can have the same service in another room.

If that is the case then how do you explain the 7EF0A9 with Austar.(just an example)
When you load the bin you get one hsn but when u load the tweak bin over it you get this one everytime 7EF0A9. i have tried on 3 different cards and always comes up the same. so there has to be a way.
I know this hsn is dead but i only used this as an example as i mentioned earlier on in this post. So my feeling is that there is a way to change the HSN and i would like to know how it is done.
If anyone can shed some light on this it would be appreciated.

That is because as you said you are loading a tweak bin it will change the HSN
And if you did manage to change the HSN what about the provid id, group keys and the encrypted master key

mcmuzzy VIC gave you the answer and if you take some time and do some reading you will see that there is more than just changing the hsn involved to getting a card working.

Anyone can change the HSN but it will NOT WORK

for it to work

1: you need the HSN
2: you need its matching tweak keys

so unless you are a genius and can extract your hsn and matching keys it can not be done simple.

i understand what you are saying however the tweak bin that was loaded had to be created by someone correct ?
I just wanted to know how it was created and if anyone knew maybe they could advice and explain. I am sure i would probably not be the only one wondering this.

you mentioned that you need HSN, matching tweak keys, provider id, group keys and emk. Please correct me if i am wrong but the HSN and provider id you can get via gup by reading the original sub, emk you can get from logging the stream but how would one get the matching tweak keys and group keys and then make the bin file.

Muzzy your on the right track.
I would start by maybe having a look at how the existing tweak bin is written.
Start just by changing a bit of the info and note the results.
Next I would get a log of the traffic between card and box....

i tried opening the tweak bin with notepad but did not open properly so it can be read. what is the best software to use to open the bin so it is readable.

I'd use an hex editor such as Hex Workshop or Ultra Edit.

Or search for your own.

Be aware that most anti-virus programs will reject any archive containing a key generator.

You could probably find it if you logged the stream (If there is any programs floating around that will be able for you to find all the necessary Items like EMK HSN,Plain Keys like in the old days of Gold/Silver Cards.At this stage I can't find anything that I can play around..Good Luck if you are clever enough to sort out the things you need to find/extract files...
