Getting foxtel HD channels for dreambox

Hi, I have a dreambox dm500s and I cant seem to pick up the HD channels, is it because my box isn't HD? Even though it isn't I assumed I could pick them up. Does anyone actually know the transponder frequencies for the HD channels so I can test if my satellite is picking them up?

You're kidding right? If you could pick up HD channels on an SD box we wouldn't need to upgrade now would we

Actually the reason the OP can't scan the he channels in isn't to do with the box being sd, its because they are on Dvb-s2 transponders and the dm500s is only Dvb-s. if the channels we're on a Dvb-s transponder then he could scan them in but the box just wouldn't have enough grunt(right chipset) to decode anyway.

My question to you would be how you can possibly even get SD fox channels on your dreambox when all screens are black? And how on earth your card works in a 3rd party box when no ones can
