Using Austar with oscam

Sick of running a PC with IRServer.

Is anyone able to guide me through setting up oscam to run in the Dreambox?

I have a DM800HD.

Anyone have config files that I can modify to my own situation. I have tried a few times to do this, but can't get it to work.

I already have the tweak keys.

Detection of the internal or external reader via oscam has been the main issue for me atm...

yeah looking for info on running oscam on a openpli image on a clone 800hd with sim 2.01 SS76D

Same hardware as me, can get it to work, just locks my card up if I turn the box off overnight. Running IRServer at the moment, working fine, but if I turn the box off again, the card won't get an update.

Hi guys, I'm a foxtel customer who was previously using oscam to watch/record in Windows Media Center, but of course that hasn't been an option for about a year now.

I have just found out that I can get Austar as well in my area, and I'm wondering if it will work with oscam?

As far as I know, publicly available versions of Oscam will only work with older v4.1 cards.

That's a shame, as it's not worth it without HD (to me). Does this mean that there are non-publicly available versions that would be of use?

Did you ever have any success with this SatGuru? I also have the 800HD with a 4.1 card but am having a bit of a struggle getting picture for Au* using Oscam and CCCam. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

There is plenty of info on this site to get it up and running.

You will need:

1. Tweaked OSCAM (works with 5.4 cards or lower, available on this site)
2. Tweak Keys (can be had from IRServer)
3. RSA Key
4. BOX Key

With those in hand use a minimalistic OSCAM configuration and you should be up and running.

are rsakey and boxkey the same for all boxes or different for each box?
what is the process for logging these?

Thats for cards not surflock activated?
