    Have you run Malwarebytes, it's a Anti-Malware ??

Just do a update before you run the scan

    Cheers

Maybe download a Rootkit scanner and check. Some antivirus anti-malware scanners won't detect Rootkits that maybe installed by 3rd party apps.

Or as diavalo13666 said it might be easier to format.

Hi and thanks guys, we'll try malwarebytes first and post if it finds something, but thanks for all the suggestions.

It's definately an application that he allowed access to his profile. However, being that the person is on when he is means the spy/malware is beyond facebook and now on your PC.

As for your son, don't back anything up and reformat. This will help in making him more security conscious in future.

May be I am wrong but I am avoiding such places as facebook. I am absolutely sure that there are a lot of much more decent and secure places in the Internet than facebook.
