I think those boxes only work ok with an N line. If you are connecting to a CCcam server forget it buy a DM800s.

I was initially using this box as a card server, but i kept getting issues (ie glitching). Its important to remember tho that i was an absolute noob at this stage. I started using my dm500s as the card server, but now i'm using a dedicated card server (linux box) and just connecting to it with an N line with Xcamclient. This works perfectly (so far).
I'd recommend updating the firmware tho, it fixed a few problems for me. I'm currently on the .44 firmware i think.
Not entirely sure if I was helpful at all.

They work fine with both C: and N: lines and the xcamclient is working fine. I have also used both C: and N: lines with Mgcamd also but just got with one emu.
Delete all plugins. Format your usb key in the receiver. Copy the 1.08.44 version to the stick and load. Factory default. Scan in sat. Load only the octaCAM__CS_CCcam_Multi__07092010.rar plugin and edit your cardclient.conf.

Leroy
