    Default Diy 360 hdd upgrade

If i bought an empty hdd case is there any special tricks needed to get a new hdd to work on the 360 ? I'm guessing i would need a transfer kit to transfer data from old to new.

Depending on the size of the content you need to transfer you may get away with using a MU. Also i think that any DLC copied over will only work when signed into LIVE unless you use the official data transfer cable. (Maybe someone can confirm or deny this). If you are updating the size remember you need the correct HDDSS.bin file for the size you are updating to and HDDhacker to prep it for use in the 360. I just upgraded mine to 250gb for my jtag box. Its pretty easy.

You need a special type of Western Digital Hard Disk.
You need a program, and you need a .bin file to suite your hard disk.
You need a transfer cable and a program like xplorer360 etc
