In an effort to try to help out members who may want to try and install a mod chip without an installers help, I thought I would start a thread here which some of us who install regularly could post pics to that shows where we place our chips and how we run the wires to them. Will also be interested to compare each others techniques.

Of course I always emphasize that if you do not have the skills required, do not attempt to chip your own unit as you can very easily end up with an expensive paper weight.

Ok I have reopened this thread

it is a very good thread and take note of the very first post by cwispy and why he started it in the first place .
there is only to be pictures of modchip installations . does not matter if it gaming consoles or not
the only text should be what type of mod and what type of machine
there will be NO blatant advertising of ones self in here
there is to be NO bagging other people diagrams
And if a diagram is taken from another site , kudos must be given to where it was taken from
now children , I want you all to behave from now on .
this is a great technical thread and shows people the difficulty of installation if they have not done so themselves

Thanks for re-openning the thread Oz.
Lets all stick to posting pics of our installs and leave it at that.
If anyone has trouble with an install they should open a new thread in the appropriate forum and if you want to comment on a install, lets stick to PM's.

Thought the first picture was a 20c piece, even thou ive done one before I never realized how small they were.
