    Default Optus Wirless Broadband Help

I am using the usual 3G wirles broadband and a E160G modem

As i was trolling around i saw Optus has thes new plans forthe Ipads where you use a Micro sim card and for $50 they give you Unlimited internet

I wanted to slip the sim into this adapter and stick it in my E160G modem

Does any one have any thoughts on the matter LOL

Hi puca You got some great speed with your Provider but by God look at your Ping would be quicker using a Carrier Pigeon LOL

to be honest i haven't crossed that bridge yet LOL
But I read some fine print Yesterday on the Optus site the dirty farkers

Important Change for customers on Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband Connect iPad Data Plans:

The $50 Unlimited Data Recharge Vouchers will no longer be available as of 8th December 2010. Any customers who activate or recharge on this voucher prior to that date will still be able to receive unlimited data for that month. However from 8th December 2010, all $50 recharge vouchers will only provide customers with up to 6GB^ data (charged in 10 MB increments).

yeah i know ping times are crazy lag is huge and those speeds were in the honeymoon period of the first 2 months then it dropped drastically because of constant dropouts yes after posting i went to optus web site and read the terms looks like i will be chasing something else my ping times are down to 95-115 using optus wireless modem big difference In the way pages open now lol
