Good Luck Phil, early reports say that the Steam version already requires a patch as there are some teething issues. Also the servers copped a hammering last night and this morning.

vga gforce 220 45%
4 gigs ram 100%
but considering the min vga specs is a 8600gt lots of good old cards will play it just not on high specs, my 220 is pretty basic, but it plays it still.
mines the non steam version i think(i just copied over the supplied steam patch files)

it looks good
sadly im playing with my left hand hitting space bar as shoot
right hand using arrow keys with a pencil & using mouse at same time
pretty friggin hard lol
wen one of the kids get into it, ill steal their save game
the nvidia gt220 dont cut it but
i reckon you need a gt 240+ or ati 3870 or better
with 3ghz cpu, at least 2gb ram
otherwise, looks good game, lots of baddies, follow the other guys, much like cod 4

Finished the SP tonight, Its an other good COD game.

There is a couple FFS! spots in it I had some swear words flying out on them spots. One of them took me about 15 times to get past it.
Once you have finished the game you get to play the Zombie level which is pretty good fun.
Who dosn't like blowing the heads of zombies

On the last level of the single player. Its COD, fancy set up, fancy run and then cut scene. The story bored me, but its not bad, I just wish I could skip the cutscenes quicker especially the loading ones.

I've had it choppy in parts (the nam level) but its been pretty good on my system.

Thanks Guys, looking forward to getting it soon. I think it has been generally received well but doubtful it will surpass the 1 Billion dollars that MW2 took.

@ Phil these games are getting more demanding on equipment especially video cards, might be time to upgrade.

I agree with Rogue, I prefer MW2,wish this had less cut scenes and it doesn't save midlevel which is a huge pain. I also thought that the Graphics could have been better especially the facial close ups. Not totally bad but I was expecting more.

Couldn't disagree more. LOVE COD Black Ops! I really enjoyed the Zombie element, SO glad they included it - you can have hours of fun on just that!

started this the other day, up to the Vietnam bit
im a bit so so on this one so far, seems like they just chucked as much action and bullets into the game as they possibly could, like all you are doing so far is running full pelt into the enemy and firing your machine gun in wide arcs to mow as many down as you can before you die.
i really hope it changes a bit in upcoming levels as im more a sit back and headshot player, and i dont think you can even switch any of the guns from full auto to single shot??
