Default Nintendo ds(all versions) vs Itouch

    Hi there,
My 6 year old daughter wants a ds, which one I don't know.
As there are a few versions which is the one for her.
Using backup games is a must.(with kids).

Or is a Itouch a better option?

    She loves music.
She loves using my IPhone for games and taking photos.

I have 2 weeks to decide.

My 12 year old daughter has a ds lite and the Itouch. For her/us the ds lite is great as it runs the cheaper ttds carts with 4gb micro SD cards ok without fear of a firmware update locking it out

She uses the Itouch (connected to the wifi) for mainly reading fan fiction and manga comics & maybe a few arcade type games.

To the best of my knowledge neither the DS lite or her ITouch has a camera

DSI if she like the camera otherwise a DSlite will suffice, and giving an ipad to a 2.5 yo you must be f'ing crazy or like burning money coz one day it will be fawked not if, when.

It depends on what your main focus is on; either it's main use is for music or games.

If your more into playing games, get a proper game console instead of a music player that plays games that is a Nintendo DS compared to an iPod Touch.
