    Default vast box glitches

    vast box every 10 minutes starts glitching then stops and 30 seconds later starts working again does anyone have this problem.

    There is a DSD update if you look through the menu. I did this and now no pics but I know someone else that did and is ok. This might fix your problem but it was fine prior to the update

    Default vast box glitches

    occasional freeze
    first the sound goes, picture freezes, 5-10 secs
    put it down to transmission probs?
    now don't know?
    am also assuming teething probs still as syncing of sound for sbs finally fixed
    also now receiving all state channels
    no commercial channels yet
    starts next month here
    shitty box!

    I was going to do a write up on this box but it's very basic. It does have ethernet and USB connections but obviously nobbled! I'm sure it has the potentional to be a better receiver.

    think i should give this box a hard time .
    looks like it's os is Linux.
    i will see if i can find the jtag port in the box.

    Have two of them waiting for the 15th. A very basic box indeed. Apart from all the aforementioned limitations I am getting a regular interval of slight pixellation on all SBS channels, though this may have something to do with the sixty day encryption.

    Also as mentioned on another post on this forum, component out is terrible - very poor jagged picture.
