    Default UEC VAST LNB selection

I have been meaning to ask in every VAST post but does the UEC VAST stb allow the user to select which LNB frequency they currently have?
I would think the majority of just Aurora only would be still using the 11300 LNB but many have either hived off, beg, borrowed or stolen Austar/Fox dish/LNB combos and even bought their own dual LNB etc but of the 10700 variarty would be no good if the UEC is set only for the 11300 types.
I have looked at the specs and other posts but I havent seen any comments on this so rather than assume the STB's menu does allow you to select the LNB frequency which I would expect it too, I thought I had better ask first.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

I only saw options for 11300 or 10700 LNB's. The box has so much potential and seems to be linux based as well so they could do so much more.

Is there a 22Khz option on these boxes? Then use that. I use 22Khz/10700 for my Foxtel box (UEC1000) on Univerisal LNB.

yep right on the money there.

I don't have any disceq switches any more only M/switches so can't say.
Very basic box, actually really piss poor excuse for a box.

Still can't work out how they managed to suck our moronic pollies into it.
The only way would have been to give them a under handed tax free payment(s)

Thanks to all who answered but remember this STB is built for a very specific market, NOT the general Hobbyist like most Austech members are.
Like Aurora this is aimed at the 'Set and Forget' market who have absolutely no interest in anything other than watching TV the same as they would in a Terrestial market.
