The longer the OTA upgrade is delayed,

the more I wonder, will they will go straight to a (New Hardware) Higher specification dedicated UEC Vast PVR STB ?

(e.g twin tuners..... no need for Externally powered HDD's etc, etc, etc ....)

Edit: & Don't get me wrong....for what it is (a very Basic PVR) & does, I personally like it quite a lot ....

Maybe, but there still needs to be the PVR remote upgrade made available.. as UEC promised.

It's not like it's not available at all.... you can get it now directly from UEC.

I can see no reason if there's an OTA firmware upgrade issue, why UEC can't just make the firmware available to download off their website, then just buy the PVR remote from the usual outlets that sell VAST decoders.

It all looks like UEC are still not being fully truthful with us as suppliers, installers and end-users.

Why they won't make the firmware available by any other means than having to send your decoder back to them..... Dodgy as!!!
