Oscam on Vu Duo

I have done a bit of searching but cant find what I need to know.
I have installed Oscam no problem. I want to use it as a client, which file and what parts do I need to edit to use it the same as an N line in Cccam ? I presume its one of the ones in var/tuxbox/config

Am I right in presuming that goes in oscam.user ? If so, is that the only thing that should be in there ?

Nope in reader you need to add the caid and port number also in oscam.conf as well in the newcamd section thats all

Looks like I havent downloaded what I need.

In the PLI menu, which should I download ?

The reader section is part of oscam.server file
Download version of oscam card server as this will put the correct files in so when you reboot the box it will auto start.
Then change the version in /usr/bin to one of the later ones from the oscam site.
Also you will need to add another N line with the new port number in the clients CCcam.cfg file or CWS line in newcamd.list so it can connect to the remote
Can use the same username and password as for your local card just change the port number then your clients will connect to the remote via the box that has the new reader value in it

sanity if you want to only use it as a client box you dont need oscam just the cccam stuff or mgcamd stuff no need for oscam for client box i have 1 of my clients useing vu+duo and he only has Nline in his cccam.config file and all working good, just because the server is useing oscam dosnt mean the client has to!!!!

Does if you want to reshare oscam to all your local clients using one username and password from the remote

well try the cccam.config suggestion i gave you put in the Nline and see if it works at your place 1st before you give it to him???hes my only client that has a vu+duo all the rest mixed up of various boxes and none of them have oscam exept me and they see all the channels too useing cccam!!!

can you reshare a Nline aswell as a Cline ive got no problems reshareing Cline through oscam but can you do same with a Nline???just curious!!

after getting my orange card im struggling to find a version of oscam the updates the card!!!the one i used with my bluey says unknown card and the dates are 3 years old!!!!ive just gone to 4722 and see if this one makes any difference!!!anyone else got a orange in a vu+duo if so you getting updates from internal card reader if so what version?????
