Woops...I put this info in a different thread...more useful here I imagine?

The skybox S9 will not play my vast card in either the slot or cam.
When in slot, the box does not recognise it at all...when placed in cam it displays the info, but alas no piccies.

    Sorry for the bad news.

Could it be because the box can't recognise a V6 card??

Tried in Vu+ Duo with CI CAM. No pictures. It did recognise the card as version 6.08.
CI CAM is version 1.06 and 2.09

    cheers

I always thought that they were a v5.7 but not when I checked mine

then yours might work in the 980hd, as for the v6 cards looks like no go unless Leroys contacts can get back to him with some thing for MCAS.

However this wont be until probably Feb as he told me they are on holidays til end of Jan

Just checked my card - it is 5.7 - I bought the Vast setup in middle of November. They must have had it in stock for a while.

However, we were unable to get it to work in the ULTRAPLUS 980HD PVR. Hopefully software will be be able to correct this soon.

I think a few maybe confused here...all cards would surely be the same?

    Skybox reports it as
    version 5.7
    type 608
    Nat-XSW ( for my region)

So the CAID is 0608? Where does the 'x' come in?

these card will not work with any other box except the one it came with. They have a digital signature witch needs to match the box it was in

I'm begining to think the supplier was lucky in getting the VAST card going in an UltraPlus because there are a number of guys here that have tried and can't get their cards going.
