Default Relook 400S neumo 3.4.2 image

The latest update (r4033) looks to be very close to a full release version. I've only tried it as a client to the vu+duo with oscam and haven't played with all functions yet. It's available at neumoteam.org/~deeptho/neumex and is supported by PCEditor 1.2.59.1

As with all neumo images, softcams aren't officially supported, so you have to install them yourself. I recommend saving important /var directories (bin, etc, emu, keys, scripts) to /var/data, & after flashing the new image, delete them from /var and recreate them as symlinks to /var/data.

You can only run CCcam 1.7.0, 1.7.1 or 2.0.0 & you need to run capmtserver as well - look for them on denktenk. I'm chasing some issues with time setting and EPG with the developers, and there are still a few problems with stability, but overall it is looking promising.

    Thanks jgm!

I am running CCcam 2.0.0. but without the capmtserver I get it loaded.

I also been following your thread in dentenk and that is why I decided to try neumo.

    Jgm

I am having problem trying to run CCcam because the library libgcc_s_nof.so.1 is not found in the lib directory. I got a copy of this file but lib directory is set to 755 so I can't add the file.

I will reflash it again with the last release and start with that and then re-flash it again with the latest test version.

I think you have the wrong version of CCcam. I have both 1.7.1 & 2.0.0 which both run, and I don't have libgcc_s_nof.so.1.

I'm only running my 400 as a client to a Vu+ Duo oscam server with mgcamd at present, but have run it with CCcam in the past.

    Hi!
I've just installed this image, and it seems to be working all right on most functions. However, I can't make recordings... If I press "Record", a messagebox is popping up on the screen, telling me to choose program to record, only thers's no programs to choose from. If I just press "OK", nothing happens. If I stress the receiver to much, it is showing "Error" or "Panic" in the display, and then it's just shutting down.

    Any good advice..

Ok, for those who does not have the CCcam in their Neumo image, this is what i did:

    1. downloaded this is from japie at dentenk.

    2. copy the file 'oscam_1.0r3508_powerpc.ipk' to /tmp of relook using DCC

    3. use telnet to issue a command ipkg install /tmp/oscam_1.0r3508_powerpc.ipk

    4. Once installed, I change the CCcam.cfg as required

    5. Reboot relook

Presto I got the CCcam installed and with the necessary script (2.1.sh) to automatically reload CCcam everytime I reboot the system. A very big thank you to japie in Dentenk forum.

I'm getting a screen with 4 * 1/2 hour tickboxes & a Cancel & OK box as well. When I check the appropriate boxes, I record the current program. You should also be able to use the EPG to record, but I'm still having issues with time & EPG, so haven't tried this yet.

Glad to hear you've got it going. For the autostart function (usually 3.1.sh) I just copy one of the existing scripts in /var/scripts, rename it & edit it to just start the appropriate cam. It will automatically create a symlink in /var/bin/init.d

I've got a workaround for the timezone issue. Add the following line to /var/bin/init.d/2.1.sh at line 2:

    front_ioctl --job settime

    Default Great work Deeptho !!

    Hi Guys,

I just discovered this thread. So glad to read that Deeptho and Neumex crew are still developing the 400s code. Its a great box and it deserves to keep going. Amazing work on the relook-remux driver - damn clever stuff.

Just one question - can anyone please tell me if the IPTV (IPCHANNEL) functions still work properly in the new release ? I can't get it working on the relook400s.relook.3.2.1.pal.r3784 image I am using.

Can't wait to try out the new code.

    Cheers,
    GB

I've had issues at times with new images. From memory, I found a serial-all image on denktenk & flashed that first before upgrading. I wouldn't worry about neumo 3.2.0 just go straight to neumo 3.4.2. You could also look on denktenk to find more details on flash problems.
