    Default ESET NOD32 Antivirus Problem

    G'day,

I use ESET NOD32 AV and have been happy with it's performance.

Tonight it has decided to get a little temperamental and block access to a site/forum I subscribe to.

I can not seem to manipulate my settings in ESET to allow access back to my desired URL.

The site is not even listed as being blocked in the ESET settings.

Anyone have any idea on how to allow access back to the required URL ?

go into advanced setup and disable web access protection, or enable the particular site you want to access.......

Did all that before my original post. Still no luck. I just thought there is something that I might be missing. Thanx for replying.

I'll download Firefox and give it a go. Maybe I've been blocked by the site itself

    Message using Firefox :

    Server Error

We are currently experiencing difficulties connecting to the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser or cross your fingers and try again in a few minutes.

This sometimes may happen when there is maintenance performed on the server or database or maybe we had to restart MySQL to get things updated.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    Thank you,

All fixed now. ESET getting updates was never the prob.

Initially I thought that ESET was blocking my access to a site that I use.

The problem ended up being the actual server of the site.

It was purely coincidental that the server died in the ass at the same time that I installed ESET.

I'm using Version 3.0.650.0 Business Edition
