Default Vu+Duo, Images and 7day EPG

    Hi Guys,
I did setup PLI daily 05122010 and found that the Cross EPG is not working.
Clean Image, Optus 156 scanned in.
I setup the CrossEPG to save data to USB, pickup Australia scan.

When I scan the activity window show up for a second and empty db file is saved to USB. Obviously, the data is not getting grabbed from the stream, I suspect the tunner is not even getting tune in the transponder.

    Any tips on that one?

    Thanks

EDIT:no DB file is written in USB but Crossepg directory is created.

    Thanks VIC,
I found that the version I was trying is for OpenPLI2.0. I did install CrossEPG
enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-crossepg-oe1.5_0.6.0-svn-142_mipsel.ipk and it is working perfect
    Cheers

    Hi Sanity,
I changed the image to newer beta and all works ok now. Added internal 2T HDD, tested recordings and so far all is good.
I did not try any other images than PLI, maybe later when I got one of thise for myself (that one I work with now is for my friend). I would say this box has all the glory of my thrusty DM7000 and more. If the hardware is as good as well, this is the perfect box to have. I would highy recommend it to anyone
    Cheers

EDIT: if someone needs fully working beta (from 09.12.2010), let me know and I will post it. I will keep the box for next few days.

Well, I will make sure tommorow (working now), but I think I get the info and program tittle if I use the up or down arrow next to OK button.

Try the Image I posted if you need to know now

BTW, is there any way to make DM7000 remote to work with VuDuo? I do not find oryginal VuDuo remote very user friendly (maybe I got addictet to DM one... )

    Cheers

Thanks for that Vic....But usb tuner still wont work.. they have drivers for only ohe type of usb tuner....With BH you just have to enable it and all works fine....
Also with the latest BH you get great media support...

    About Mediatomb:

Mediatomb include a webinterface too to manage your media.
Mediatomb webif url: (example: box ip: 192.168.0.23 - Mediatomb webif = )
If you want to play with Mediaplayer configs you can find docs and howto:
    Location of config file: /.mediatomb/config.xml

    Exif thumbnail support

user defined server layout based on extracted metadata (scriptable virtual containers)

    automatic directory rescans

highly flexible media format transcoding via plugins / scripts

sophisticated web UI with a tree view of the database and the file system, allowing to add/remove/edit/browse your media
