    Default New fake virus scam.

My wife opened an attachment that was supposedly sent by a friend by it was actually a scam that tricks you into believing you have a virus by pretending to be an MS security product.
If you get a warning message from a program could Think point, you cant close it down by normal methods and it tries to get you to enter credit card details to purchase a full program.
A quick google shows you how to get rid of it, restart your pc and when it boots to a large MS looking box named Think point use task manager CTRL + ALT + DEL and under processes look for hotfix.exe and close it, then go to file>new task (run) and type explorer.
Close task manager and then use an anti spyware program like Malwarebytes or Super anti spyware to scan your hdd and delete the program.

It was MS security essentials with a nice windows logo and all, it comes up in a nice big sky blue box with Think Point in large white font.
