Wow you were in the game in the late 80s?
I bet the prices of things have come down abit since then.
Welcome on board.
Welcome Playbox,
With all your knowledge we look forward to your posts.
Welcome Playbox
What could you watch with a KU dish back then ? I can imagine the hardware prices

Fun Times
Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
My first Ku-Band system was around 92-94 system a 4 piece solid (Tin) 1.8mt dish with a Cal-amp LNB and analog box, think it was called a Winesat??
Fixed to the Aussat - A1 & used to move it to A2 satellite and back.
The most disturbing feeds I saw was raw footage out of Rwanda in 94.
quite a few feeds back then - the networks used to leave CNN on most of the time, TV shows, movies from Nine network feeds.
Purchased the system from Videosat Paid around $1200.00
C-Band was in the late 80's in New York, again network feeds - from a KTI mesh dish.
Fun Times.
