m3i zero region locked?

I have been searching and can not find out if the m3i zero is region locked or will it allow both ntsc and pal games to be played on a pal dsi?

do you have to block ntsc games from updating consoles firmware or anything like in the wii?

No, you will just find the games won't work or will lockup if they require a newer firmware. Then it's just a matter of updating the cards firmware from the m3 site. Sometimes you may have to wait for a new firmware release to be able to play certain games.

Thank you very much. I tried a couple of games and they worked but I cant remember what region they were.

Will have to wait till xmas now to try again as dsi consoles are all packed up. For $20 each the genuine m3i zero are great
