sharing a USB Wireless modem

I am currently on Ipstar Satelitte because my local exchange has no equipment to do ADSL.
The Satelitte does have some limitations and now 3G and possibly Optus covers my area better than it did previously by wireless so I was considering my options and I saw on BigPond this USB modem.
At the moment I have a wireless router on the Sat modem and the desk top and one laptop connected by CAT to it and the other laptop uses the wireless connection.
The router is a Netcomm NB504 that has no USB connections of any sort.
Is it possible to keep the setup I have now if I went wireless ?
I dont specificaly like BigPond and I avoid the local Telstra shop as they seem to know even less than I do about this and I know bugger all.
Its possible I might need an external antenna but thats of no consequence so long as it works.

Yess Zigg, thats the one I saw advertised and prompted me to ask as the plan for this is almost double (4Gb to 7Gb) with no 'Peaks' and $5 dearer than my current Satelitte plan ($45 to $49) a month with a Home phone.
Even if this particular one isnt suitable for what I want, I was wondering what others are available to suit me.
An interesting option.

telstra gateway is a wireless router/modem all in 1
or you can try something like a netcomm n3g002w that you can plug a usb
moden into and works with most providers

yeah probably the easiest way to do it. I looked up usb to cat adapters but not sure really if this is a viable option? (security wise) or even if it works.... I guess you authenticate via the netcomm router/modem

Sorry but I made a major error with the connections, its LAN not CAT to the Desk top and one laptop.

it will get a bit messy with lan and multiple wireless ap
would be easiest to fit wireless cards to laptop and desktop
then select the connection you want via wifi card
have 3 wireless connections here
sat - into wireless router
bigpond nextg - gateway
dodo usb 3g - netcomm n3g002w
select networks as needed

Mickc, not really as I dont have a spare card slot in the desktop and the old Acer laptop seems to have developed an aversion to using the wireless even though it is inbuilt and did function on wireless then stopped working for some reason. It even refused to use the USB wireless modem I have.
It could 'see' the network but it just didnt want to work and being out of town and bugger all here regarding service, I just opted for the simple way out and used one of the LAN ports on the router.
My wife's Toshiba works perfectly on the Wireless however.
Currently I have the Netcomm router sitting on the tower and the laptop just to one side so running the 2 LAN cables presents no dramas.
