Default Too many trigger emails from AVtech DVR

    Hi All,

I've got the triggers setup to email me when there is motion, but is there anyway to to turn down how many emails it sends? lets say on per 5 minutes or something?

I'm just getting hammered by emails from every second of movement.

Start by minimising the motion detection area. Mask any areas such as windows, reflections, TV/PC monitors etc. This will not only save you HDD space but also reduce the amount of false alarms.

Also, if it is in a business application, you might want it to record at a certain frame rate during business hours and then motion only in the outside of business hours.

I can't find my electronic version of the manual to see exactly what is required with email notifications.
