    Default Humax/austar

    Guys,

I got a IRCI5400 some time ago, but not been using it.

What special tip is there in getting the austar channels to load in it?

All I wanna do is put my sub card in it and watch, but for some reason, it won't load any of their channels.

I have scanned via 12558 and enabled network search..but get none. I do get some of the box office etc, but none of the basics?

Have tried a scan with a cam, without a cam, combinations of card/cam, but no go.

After a network scan, and going into organising networks, I only have 4 austar channels

Please explain where my thick head cannot compute?

    Thanks all...

if it has box office and not the others then it is not scanning the horizontal frq check that lnb is ok if on a multi switch setup check that as well.

    so

a: is it the only unit in the house
b: is it on a dual lnb setup
c: is it running from the output of another receiver

    thanks diavalo...

Other boxes are scanning in the H when I swap boxes over to the same lead.

Have run outa time today..I think I'll empty out the channel lists, and do a factory reset and have another lash when time permits..

I hadn't done this prior to playing with it, so perhaps that'll be the problem...we will see

    Thanks

maybe you don't have enough space left in memory. humaxes can only hold a few hundred channels.

All fixed...deleted all services, retuned, running like a gem.

It only had about 700 channels stored, but hey, fixed...

    Default No

Aurora is on C1 not Pas2 (Intelsat 2)
Check out Lyngsat.com and I think you will find there is no packages
on Intelsat 2 that you would be able to get a sub card for.
