I know $300.00 is a fairly good price but straight after Xmas I also know I'm really broke.
Do you have any room to move on that price??
I am interested, now I'm just wondering if you can make me more interested
Can you just put four drivesin and use it as storage (no raid setup or anything)?
how old is the unit?
is 2TB the max??

Statistically, if you wait long enough, everything will happen!
offer 200 pickup today if you want.
I am assuming it has 2 x 1TB western digital inside it with spare 2 slots.
Hi guys, messaging from my phone and it sucks! Hope I cover it all...
The unit is about 2 years old but has not been running 24/7 since I got it as I only used it when backing up.
You can upgrade the drives in it, just make sure they are the same!
It has space for 4 hard drives and comes with 2. I know it can expand to at least 8TB as WD offers an 8TB model.
You don't have to use raid to copy each drive and you set it to be one massive 8TB drive of you like.
Was hoping for $300 as I think that's a very fair price for these units. I will consider offers over $260 with $300 instant.
What model Hdds are they? WD Black editions?
Ha no.
They are green drives, suited for such devices that are normally used 24/7 to conserve power.
how big are the existing hard drives that are in it?
If you read the original post, it will tell you...
Ah indeed it does, just the way it's worded didn't click.
I'll offer $300 including postage.
That should get things going for you.
Cheers
