Picked one of these up today and so far it's an awesome box. F*xtel bluey kicks in after about a minute and can record to usb drive hard drive with no quality loss. Even ABC News 24 HD works. At the moment after playing with it for an hour, I am in love with this box lol.

I haven't got a box to check with at the moment but from memory no. You can of course record to a USB device and take that to your PC and copy the recordings off.
