Solution 16 6+6 Panel.
Hi there I have one of these panels. Just resently when we lose power eg: black out.
When the power returns the system arms even though the system wasnt armmed in the first place.
I held the number 5 button down and zone 1 and 2 light up. After reading up on this 1 means batt fail and 2 means date and time.
I opened the panel to see something lit up (Lp1).
I remove cable from Batt and Lp1 goes out. I replace cable and Lp1 slowly lights up to fully lit.
I assume this is a under voltage indicator?
And that I need to replace the batt.
Any info most welcomed.

You either have a Solution 16 or a Solution 6+6
and Yes you do need a new Battery, call your local licensed security tech, and he will fix it up for you.
Yes its a 6+6.
Why cant I go and get a replacement myself and install it?
Hitachi Hv 7-12 (12V 7Ah)
it will also go into an armed state after powering down if it is programmed to.
By default the panel will power up in the "armed state" So if your battery is stuffed & you have a blackout you have effectively lost all power. When the mains returns it will repower in the armed state. You have answered your own question . Fault 1 & 2 - battery & time/date. Get yourself a new battery , set time & date then arm the system to force a battery test & all should be good
LP1 glowing indicates charging current to the battery - it should only be a faint flicker.

Yeah, just get a 12V 7AH Battery & replace it
Might be usefull to check the charging circuit also with a multimeter.

You'll need the Master Code to reset the date and time and the Solution panes do not use a standard 13.75 volts to charge the panel so testing it wont help. You'll find it charges at around 5 - 6 volts. Dont know if this changes. It's one of those questions I keep meaning to ask the Bosch techs
