    Exclamation Running IGO on 2.2 Android Tablet 10 inch

    Hi thinking of getting a 2.2 Android Tablet 10 inch with GPS,external antenna will IGO or is there another gps program which will work on them and if there is which one will work .Resolution on the tablets are 1024x600 pixels they have sd slots not sure which one to get there are so many on ebay

    be carefull because as of yet i have not found a good gps app to run on android.

    Also unless it has inbuilt gps there is also issues with drivers for the usb gps units.

    check out and and have a look through there and ask the question there .You will find some one will have some good advise on a device and software.

    The other big thing is at the moment there is only couple true 2.2 tabs out there, the archos 101 - viewsonic Gtab all the others say 2.2 but when you read the fine print you will see they are 2.1 with claims they can be upgraded to 2.2 but their updates have never eventuated.

    I personally am holding out for the notion ink adam and also to see whats shown of at the CES this week because the new moto tab is going to be shown of

    Im running Igo8.4.2 with my samsung galxy s and its very responsive..the only problem you will have is finding the correct resolution for your 10" unit:

    running 2.2.1 DocRom

    I have an Android running 2.1 with builtin GPS, where did you find a version of IGO that worked on an Android? Can you supply a link?
