    Default STB with VGA?

    Hello,

    I have a spare 19" widescreen LCD monitor that I would like to turn into a Digital TV.

    I have a small cheap stb with VGA out but it is not that good a quality and it wont decode SBS. So brabds have people come across in STB's (SD and/or HD) that have a VGA output.

    Regards

    I bought a digicrystal hdt-9500 from Strathfield last December for $149.00. One of it's outputs is VGA. I havn't tried the VGA output though so you might want to have a look around the net for comments.

    I bought a unit from jbhi for pretty cheap, it was a HOTCHIP 500HDMI. It outputs;

    Video:
    VGA, 'DVI-PLUS', Component and composite.

    Audio:
    Optical and RCA

    Pretty happy with it so far, it's a tough little unit
