once you have the server details you need to press the red button or turn the connection on.

the details should look somethink like this

    these deials are fictious
P.S. You will need a working server for this to work. See you server administrator if you are not sure.

Well the 4930 will not run as a server, but it will happily be a client all day.

What you need to do is insert a USB stick and then goto menu>usb>data transfer then hit coloured with csinfo. Now take the usb stick to a PC edit the lines you need to edit save them and then re-insert the USB stick. go back to the above menu setting and now click ok on the file it will then upoad the cs details. I am going off memory here as the box is a friends house. I'll have look tomorrow and give you the exact low down

Will be picking one of these up next week for $195, looking forward to getting it home and having a blind scan.

Please elaberate a bit more. you have gone into 8281 and set the details to log onto the server?

You then need to make sure the on/off is set to on. then make sure the ip settings are correct through the main menu. then make sure that you press the red button once inside 8281

Yes it should, what channel you on? Also when you are in 8281 you can almost make out the NDS with it is connected. Do you have two different log on account on the server you are using ?

As most servers will not allow multiple log ons

I'm using a Bluey with my 4930 and it freezes after using the card after around 15 mins, it then goes to scrambled channel/invalid smartcard.
I have added the patched firmware but that didn't make any difference.
Is there anyway to overcome this problem ?

Blueys do not really work well with 4930 or any 49xx series you need an ogrange with box id etc

recording bugs on a Strong receiver? Never seen that before
Cccam is embedded in the firmware so you can't just change the cam. You need to wait until it's added to the firmware and recompiled. But why do you need to change it? I've found the cs side of things to work well in the past. This is the only disadvantage of this type of box compared to one where you can download the emus or add plugins.
