Cccam is embedded in the firmware so you can't just change the cam. You need to wait until it's added to the firmware and recompiled. But why do you need to change it? I've found the cs side of things to work well in the past. This is the only disadvantage of this type of box compared to one where you can download the emus or add plugins.

had some performance issues with Conax encryption...so that why i was wondering....however newcamd works awesome on same receiver...

    Default CS with SRT 4910

Anybody please explain the values to enter in server list menu for SRT 4910:
    E.g Timeout = 3s
    Filtermode; ......What to filter?
Will these affect the performance? This is because I see it takes somewhat long to switch between some channels. It stays scrambled for quite long on certain channels. I'm on CCcam but nearly same menu as below..

In the menu there is a transfer area where one box is slave the other master. Read the manual? Its in there or call strong technology Australia.

Filter is to filter out specific card so when you press 8281 from remote cccam and newcamd lines manager shows up...
now press info button to bring out filter setting...
first filter will be filter 0
add CAID and provider of the all the card you need in list....
press fastforward button to go to next filter and add details...
i think upto 9 filters can be set up...
now go back to any cline and change filter mode to user and select from filter list filter number you added caid and providers and save...
timeout is maximum time receiver will wait for requested code from cline or nline server...
    after that it give up...
yopu can set it upto 14 sec max

hope this help and that is what i think it means...if anyone has another opinion please reply...

    Hey Guys,
I got my 4910 working with cccam after loaded the patched firmware and module. However, I found that if I only use one cccam account, it works fine. If I open two or more cccam account, the box just keeps rebooting and not stopping. Anyone have an idea why is that? Is there anything deal with the setting I put into the cccam setting? Thanks

I hear 2 newcamd lines work ok. Don't know if that's an option for you.

I've used up to C-Lines. No rebooting. My box is the ME version with no ethernet.

Austech is more of a self-service buffet than a full-service restaurant. Help youself, enjoy.

@ princeham - I've never known the 4669 to have cccam functionality!

I don't know of any clones. There might be models that are similar sold overseas.

I originally got the 4910 file compliments to the above poster, installed it using it as a client to an oscam server, took about 5 mins
As the bluey is now non functioning and am trying to run it as a client to an IRserver computer with no luck.
Previously i did not have to enter a server ip (i think) but do i have to do this now? And if i have to enter lines into CCcam how do you do it
tried both CCcam and Newcs. The DM500's were easy thru DCC, any help would be appreciated
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Madness"

Set it up as a newcamd client entering the username, password, DES key, IP address and port and save and connect and you should be away.

These boxes will act as a client only. But they do read the card in the slot
