I recently won this one on Ebay at a great price.
From the top, his WW1 group ( 1914-15 star, British War medal and Victory medal ), his WW2 group ( Australian Service Medal and British War medal ).
In the lower section , left to right, a sterling silver masonry medal, a gold masonry fob awarded in 1929-1930, an Australian service badge and another sterling silver masons medal. The picture doesnt do it justice, its a beautiful group.
All were awarded to John Flisher. He enlisted in the British Army in late 1914 serving with the British Army Service Corp until 1919. Sometime after the end of WW1, he emigrated to Australia settling in rural Burracoppin, Western Australia. He enlisted in the Australian Army in October 1940 and was discharged in October 1943 serving with 29 Garrison Battalion. Garrison Battalions were generally used for guarding Prisoners of War in Australia.

The Masons are part-fraternal order (like the Moose Lodge) and part secret-society and have been existence for hundreds of years. Many of the founding fathers--Washington to name one---were Masons.
Due to interest in a Russian/Ukrainian medal group, I have gone back through some posts and re-added photos that have disappeared due to dead image shack links. The image in the first post was gone, I have re-added it.
The medal below is the cream of the crop for a Mason, and yes it is Gold. On it, it says "Royal Order of Antediluvian Buffaloes"
