Default MSY PCMCIA Serial Adapter any good?

Looking for a PCMCIA serial adapter that is able to act as a real COM1 port. (on address 3f8 irq 4) Most capable adapters are around $120 USD plus shipping. I've come across an adapter from MSY for $55 and was wondering if it will meet the above requirements.
