BTW, if someone has the PiconCreator utility that would be handy as well.
I don't want to register with another forum just to get it....
    Thanks

Will these work as they are currently named for a *cable* setup?

Have placed them into /usr/share/engima2/picon **Didn't work
Have placed them into /media/hdd/picon **Didn't work

I'm using OpenPli 1.0 with Kerni skin and am also running CrossEPG. I have an external HDD mounted.

I would be careful about putting either epg or picons on a hdd as it can cause freezes while it waits for hdd spin-up when changing channels or using epg ...

as weirdo said, download from PLi first and then copy attached picons to the directory where the dawnloaded picons are. should work.

yes it's always advisable to mount them to a USB stick. if there on a HDD the hdd will spin up every single time you so much as change a channel. if there mounted to the internal flash it will not only fill the flash up causing lagging etc but it could also cause the flash memory to fail faster than it should naturally.
