    Default New 360 drive Un-Flashable

This new Benq drive model DG-16D2S (fw 74850c) in the 360 is ATM un-flashable the SPI is within the DVD drive controller chip and is similar to the SHD-162C Samsung drives used for backup and the only way to dump the firmware is to send direct dvd control codes to the dvd mpu lets hope schtrom may be able to help us.

I just want to know why you thought it necessary to start another thread to begin with and secondly there are other forums which are much more suited to this type of discussion, and more likely to yield results.
What would you do if your server was stolen or failed beyond repair?

Coding in C is like sending a 3 year old to do groceries. You gotta tell them exactly what you want or you'll end up with a cupboard full of pop tarts and pancake mix.
